The international timber construction organization UICB has now published its technical manual for laminated veneer lumber (LVL) in French as well. This eliminates a previous language barrier for planners and manufacturers in Francophone markets. The French version of this standard work is likely to accelerate the use of LVL in Belgium, Switzerland, and France, while also highlighting where the timber construction industry still has gaps in international documentation.
